Map Panel

The maps are displayed in the map panel. You can manipulate what appears in the map panel by using newmaps various tools. The information displayed in the map panel depends on use of these tools.

Please note: Map features will appear or disappear depending on whether layers are turned on and the current scale of the map.

Moving the map

Within the map panel itself, you can move the map in any direction. Simply click one of the arrows surrounding the map panel to move the map in that direction.

The four primary direction arrows (north, east, south, west) are labeled. The arrows in each of the corners allow you to move the map diagonally. For example, to move the map to the north-east, click the small arrow at the top right corner of the map panel between the north and east arrows.
